I waited to review this dog bed until after we had it for a while. Yes, it's pricey but it is worth it in my opinion. We've had it for almost 2 years. The latex has not flattened out like most synthetic stuffing dog beds, we occasionally give it a fluff and it puffs right back up. The cover is sturdy and doesn't show any signs of wear despite daily use by our 80 pound dog. I don't think it would stand up to chewing, but fortunately our dog isn't interested in chewing on the bed. The cover washes well and I feel better using more natural materials in a place my girl spends so much time. The bed is relatively heavy and bulky, so we don't use it for travel but I would still recommend it.
