Really cute!! I was concerned that the costume wouldn't fit my dog, but the XS fits my 6 lb chihuahua with some adjustments (I'm going to roll the sleeves in to shorten them and tack them in place). I also put a Popsicle stick in the tail part to keep it from flopping over.If you have a really small dog, might not fit. Most chihuahuas are smaller than mine (he's a beefy guy..not fat, but just big). I would imagine this COULD fit a small terrier in or around the 6-7 lb range.Otherwise, the costume is well constructed and really stinking cute!!!
