Sturdy bed, like a cot for dogs, but mine don't like it since it's not soft and cushy. I wanted something for the deck that would not get soaked when it rains. This bed holds water though, after a rain you have a "pool" that you have to empty out. Not a big deal but I thought it would be slightly "breathable." Nice product if you think your dogs will like it. I did try putting a soft blanket on it and my dog will try it briefly, but just does not like the feel of this type of bed.I bought the large size. We have a 60# Catahoula~Boarder Collie mix. I chose this dog bed because it can be taken apart for road trips. It was mostly easy to put together. Took my husband about 5 minutes. (the last piece was a little tough). It's durable and well made. I feel worth the cost. That being said.......our dog has ZERO interest in it! We put his regular dog bed on top of it for added comfort. He'll lay down on it if I ask him to but will not get on it voluntarily. I'm hoping in the summer time he'll lay on it verses the patio but not holding my breath, lol! If your dog(s) like this type of bed I would recommend this one.We bought this for camping with our pup. I was in the market for a raised bed for my Alaskan Malamute and SO GLAD I chose this one! My big girl Sammie tends to get rather warm here in the Colorado summers and this bed lets her be outside for hours without overheating. I was worried that it may not be big enough, but its PERFECT. Excellent craftsmanship, and the assembly was a breeze. Do your doggy a favor and buy this bed ASAP!Its fairly easy to put together. The last rung is the toughest but, it goes together. My dog isn’t a huge fan. But I dog sit and some of the older dogs like it. Very firm.This was very easy to assemble. Seems to be very sturdy. My dog is still afraid of it, so will update once she gets use to it and uses it.Need to watch with puppies that like to chewOur pup loves this bed. Got right up on it as soon as it was assembled and is now his go-to spot in the backyard. He’s a 45lb golden doodle.No issues putting it together, although I have not taken it apart to move it (we move it around whole). My dog took to it right away. It has worked great for an outdoor dog bed. You can hose it off easily. Surprisingly it does retain some water on top of the fabric so you do need to flip/dump it after you wash it or when it rains. So far it has held up to the weather and the scratching my pup likes to do before he finds that perfect place to lay down.
