We had a collar(unknown brand) like this for our fox hound mix because he could slip out of a regular collar. The original collar got old so we needed a new one and could not find any at the local pet stores. I went on amazon and found this. We bought one for the hound dog and it fit really well and works great. It worked so well we bought a second one for our other dog. Great quality and looks great on the pups.I ordered the small size because it the size in inches would fit my dogs neck.. but I did not take into consideration that the collar needs to go over my dogs head!! I’m returning it for a size larger because it’s really well made and I’m happy with it.Been using a chain choker until issues with it pinching my dog's neck when he plays with other dogs at the park and he got a couple cuts on his neck. This new collar is just what I'm looking for. Only had it 2 days so I don't know about the durability but it's obviously way softer and has to be more comfortable than the chain. I have a Great Dane and their necks are long and tapered toward the head so I need a collar that's tight enough to stay on but long enough it doesn't slide down his neck and get tight on him. This collar is great. Like a nylon choker but stops before it actually chokes.It's just big enough to fit over his head and sit at the base of his neck. When I'm walking him and he pulls the collar tightens just right to control him and not pinch his neck. I got the XL size. Also, the metal rings on the brown collar are colored to match which look really nice. Very happy customer here.This collar looks good, is well made, and the padding is comfortable for my doggo.Very pleased with this collar. Far better than others I have purchased previously. I will purchase again. Fits nicely. And seems very comfortable for our dog.This collar is really helpful in leash training. It is better than the chain collar if you were wondering. It is padded and doesn’t choke your furry friend because it has a retaining ring so it doesn’t apply too much pressure to his or neck.This is a collar with nice inside padding for comfort around the neck. It is also very thick and sturdy and made with excellent craftsmanship. My dog weighs 90+ pounds and I have no trouble using it with him:Nice soft collar. Works as described. My dog seems happy with it. Would buy again.
